A Day in the Life at JML Transit

At JML Transit, every role matters. From the driver behind the wheel to the dispatcher coordinating routes, each team member plays an important part in keeping riders safe, supported, and on time. While JML Transit is not open for business yet, this page gives a look at the future positions that will help us serve Pre-K students, individuals with disabilities, and campus shuttle riders with care, respect, and professionalism.

A Typical Day on Our Team

From the first safety checks in the yard to the last rider drop-off, every person at JML Transit plays a part in keeping our community moving with care. Here’s a simple look at what each role does during a normal day so you can picture where you might fit in.

The Vision for Our Team

Driver

The face of JML Transit, responsible for safe and professional transportation of all riders, maintaining a welcoming environment. Drivers also maintain a safe vehicle for rides.

Aide / Monitor

Vital support for Pre-K students and individuals with disabilities, ensuring safety and comfort during every trip. Monitor are also the eyes, ears and mouth for the driver.

Dispatcher

Our central hub for organization, linking drivers and routes to ensure JML Transit remains efficient. This role monitors scanner frequencies for road updates to avoid delays for our passengers.

Mechanic

Our mechanics are the experts who keep our fleet safe, reliable, and ready for every passengers and routes — they’re the heart and soul of every bus.

Yard Duty

Supporting yard operations and vehicle cleanliness, ensuring our fleet is ready to serve the community every day.
